"The Student Scholarship" Selection Scheme


1、宗旨 Purpose

“学子奖学金”旨在奖励在学业等方面积极进取并取得优异成绩的在澳兴宁学子，激励他们充分发挥个人潜能，不懈努力，不断进步，在社区中创造出良好的学习氛围。

“The Student Scholarship" is designed to reward students in the Xingning (Hing Ling) community in Australia, who are proactive in academic studies and achieve outstanding results. It encourages them to fully realize their personal potential, make unremitting efforts, make continuous progress, and create a good learning atmosphere in the community.


2. 奖项设置 Awards

1) 特等奖The Grand Award

2) 一等奖 The First Prize

3) 二等奖The Second Prize

4) 三等奖 The Third Prize

5) 表扬奖 The Encouragement Award

3. 评选标准 Selection Criteria

1) 澳洲高考成绩达90分以上（其中：98分以上：特等奖；95分～97.99分: 一等奖；90～94.99: 二等奖）Australian university entry examination ATAR 90 or more ( 98 or more: The Grand Award; 95 to 97.99: The First Prize; 90 to 94.99: The Second Prize).

2) 考进精英中学或考取私校奖学金（奖项：一等奖）Admission to selective school or private school scholarship (Award: The First Prize) .

3) 考进英才班（OC班）（奖项：一等奖）Admission to Opportunity Class (OC Class) (Award: The First Prize)

4) 担任学校大队长（奖项：一等奖）School Captain (Award: The First Prize)

5) 评为学校最优秀毕业生 （DUX）（奖项：一等奖）Selected as the best graduate of the school (DUX) (Award: The First Prize).

6) 中文或其他科目考取年级第一（奖项：二等奖）Rank #1 in Chinese or other subjects in their grade (Award: The Second Prize).

7) 中小学生有三科或以上的成绩取得优异成绩（HD)；大学生有两科或以上取得优异成绩（HD)（奖项：二等奖）Primary or high school students who have three or more subjects with High Distinction (HD); University or College students who have two or more subjects with High Distinction (HD) (Award: The Second Prize).

8) 文娱、体育、其它学术竞赛或是其它技能成绩突出 （包括通过高级考试）（奖项：三等奖）Outstanding results in entertainment, sports, academic competitions or other skills (including passing advanced exams) (Award: The Third Prize).

9) 学习进步明显（奖项：表扬奖）Significant improvement/progress (Award: The Encouragement Award).


注 Notes:

  1. 申请人必须是同乡会会员或会员的家属（申请人的父母，祖父母或外祖父母至少有一人是同乡会会员). The applicant must be a member of the Association, or at least one of the applicant’s parents or grandparents is a member of the Association.

  2. 获奖资格以本年度成绩为准 The qualifications for winning prizes are based on the results of the corresponding year.

  3. 获奖金额及人数按当年情况调整 The prize money and number of winners are adjusted according to the current year.

  4. 如果有学生达到和符合多项评选标准，则只以最高级别一项发放奖学金 If a student meets multiple selection criteria, only one scholarship prize will be awarded at the highest level.

  5. 如有争议，以同乡会理监事会的复审決定为准 In case of dispute, the review decision of the Committee of the association shall prevail.
